The Repercussions of Surprising the Family
Shocking title to a blog post… I know. I would like to write why such a lovely surprise has turned into me feeling guilty.
Too make it fair, each year we take turns spending time with each other’s family, and Christmas just past it was our turn to come to Scotland. Flashback to November/December 2015, so far I had managed to not bring up any Christmas plans while on the many phone calls with my mum. (This was a huge achievement for me, I can not keep a secret, especially if it’s as big it this one).
Is It 2016 Already?
I seriously cannot believe how quickly 2015 has gone by! In fact, I can barely believe that in May I will have been in The Netherlands for two years.
The saying time flies when you’re having fun definitely applies for me.
It has been a rollercoaster ride full of emotions, but I am happy to say I am 100% settled in The Netherlands. I have an awesome job which is close to home and I am making new friends.
A Year In Eindhoven
On the 28th of May 2014, I took a leap of faith and moved to Eindhoven. I can’t believe that it has been a year already! Seriously, where has the year gone?! I can remember the day I moved over like it was yesterday!
Bonnie Scotland – Snapshots
For the first time since June 2014 we visited Scotland. We spent 6 busy days catching up with friends and family, sightseeing, and even attending a family wedding. Oh and eating all the foods I have missed.
