I seriously cannot believe how quickly 2015 has gone by! In fact, I can barely believe that in May I will have been in The Netherlands for two years.
The saying time flies when you’re having fun definitely applies for me.
It has been a rollercoaster ride full of emotions, but I am happy to say I am 100% settled in The Netherlands. I have an awesome job which is close to home and I am making new friends.
One thing that still needs to improve is of course my Dutch, but it is a slow work in progress. I have been attending an intensive course for A1 level and I have signed up for the A2 course which starts in February. But I know that I need to do more practice at home instead of doing the week’s homework the night of class.
I have decided to make new year resolutions for 2016. In fact I have made two different sets of resolutions, personal ones and blog resolutions. I may be setting myself up to failing with having so many, but it will be fun trying to keep them all up.
Personal New Years Resolutions

Blog New Years Resolutions

Simple, but hopefully achievable resolutions. Learning Dutch really is my main goal for 2016 and as long as I do achieve this, I will be over the moon.
I am so excited to see what 2016 has to offer for my friends, family and of course myself. Have you made any new year resolutions?
